Thermax Tulsion MB115 High Quality DI Vessel Resin 25L

Tulsion MB-115 is a mixed bed resin of strongly acidic cation exchange resin Tulsion T-46 in hydrogen form and strongly basic type 1 anion exchange resin Tulsion A-33 in hydroxide form in 1:1.5 volume ratio.

This superior resin is designed for use in final polishing for production of ultra pure water.

Tulsion MB-115 is a high grade mixed bed resin that can cope with high input mS/cm or ppm giving you ultra pure water.

Suitable for demineralizer resin applications including water fed pole industry, car valeting, electronics, electronic industries which manufacture semi conductors and television tubes, glass cleaning, EDM, cosmetics, steam ironing and many more applications where demin water is required.

Tulsion MB-115 is a high grade of resin with greater capacity than less expensive resins.

Why is Tulsion MB-115 more expensive than some other mixed bed resins on the market?

Water contains both anions and cations which are charged atoms or molecules. Mixed bed resins are made up of both anion and cation beads. The more closely the quantities of each of these matches the structure of the water they are purifying, the more effectively the resin will work. Most water supplies in the UK contain more anion than cation atoms therefore the most effective mixed bed resins will be ones that contain more anion than cation beads.

However, anion resin is notably more expensive than cation resin due to its being more difficult to manufacture. Therefore, the greater the content of anion resin in a mixed bed resin, the higher the selling price will be. Conversely, if the resin contains less anion beads than cation beads, the lower the price will be.

Tulsion MB-115, which is a high-grade resin, contains 60% anion resin and 40% cation resin which is reflected in the price. In comparison, lower grade budget resins contain less anion resin in the mix, typically 50% or lower. This allows these di mixed bed resins to be sold at a cheaper price but, as explained above, will not work as effectively or last as long as higher-grade di mixed bed resins such as Tulsion MB-115 as they do not match the structure of water in the UK.

In addition, manufacturers of lower cost resins often do not work to specification which means that quality can fluctuate. Tulsion MB-115, must be manufactured to strict specifications ensuring that quality is constant, giving you peace of mind that the product you are buying will consistently give you the results you are looking for.
