50 Cal Detailing IPA is a general cleaner – excellent for cleaning glass & lenses. Can be used to clean virtually any surface. Removes light grease, oils, dirt, food stains etc. Evaporates quickly and leaves surface squeaky clean. IPA is often used as a specialist automotive cleaner, for wiping down waxed and painted panels in order to prep a surface for coating or waxing. IPA can also be used as a graffiti remover for removing inks, markers, lipstick etc. A De-Icer for locks and windscreens. Add to Windscreen washer reservoir for a spotless windscreen every time
It’s essential that this IPA is diluted correctly before using on any automotive surfaces and it should be used on a small test area before proceeding.
IPA is used as a disinfectant-steriliser-anti-bacterial cleaning agent – Isopropyl Alcohol kills bacteria, fungus and viruses. Used to disinfect medicinal objects, prevents the spread of disease, and is commonly used to kill germs on all surfaces. Isopropyl Alcohol 70% solution is recommended for high strength cleaning or disinfecting purposes. Dilute this 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol by adding water to create a suitable solution.
For detailing use we would advise diluting this product down to at least 80% water and 20% IPA at first and testing on an inconspicuous area should always be carried out.
Safety Advice: Fumes are quite powerful, so always use it in a well-ventilated area. Both the liquid and its fumes are flammable, so keep it far from heat sources.
